Wennington

Fundraising event at Wennington Hall School on Friday 29th January 2010

Proceeds in aid of the Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme (STECS)

The staff and boys at Wennington Hall School hope to raise money for STECS by having a fundraising day on Friday 29th January 2010.

The boys will enjoy such events as non-uniform, 'Scottie face painting’, cake stalls and gift stalls from STECS to name just a few of the things planned. There will be a special assembly in the morning of the day where the boys will learn about the breed and the sterling work the charity STECS does.

Preparations for the event have already started with a 'Scottie Colouring Competition' and a'Guess the Scottie Name Competition'.

On Wednesday 27th January, some of the Year 11 Catering boys will be baking lots of 'Scottie shaped' biscuits and some mouth-watering cream cakes in our new catering and hospitality suite to sell on the special day.

There will be another special assembly at the end of the event where the grand total will be announced.
