Subject: Christmas Memories
Sadly, our special little girl, Lottie, passed over to Rainbow Bridge this morning whilst held in my arms and is now at rest in one of her favourite spots in the garden.
Lottie's memory will live on in our hearts, along with those of Mac, Buttons, Hamish, Angus, Jamie, Kim, Brock, Piper and Badger.
Recognising that many of you have loved and lost your animal friends too, we hope that their special memories are with you this festive season.

It was great to see you and your pals braving the winds at the West Kirby Marina recently.
Perhaps you know The Red Rocks nearby - one of Digger's favourite beaches "in years gone by" when ma's ma lived next to the RNLI Lifeboat Station in Hoylake.
It was lovely to see your photos - and all the terrific pictures of you two rascals - here's hoping to see lots more.

Hi there Penny and the lovely crew, inc. Tomos the cat!
We love walking on either side of the Dee Estuary, as you may have seen from some of our other photos!! We especially like the beaches on the "home side" but also like to go to West Kirby and Parkgate - Parkgate is great because we get lovely ice cream in our own cones from the shop!! They keep some especially for doggies - how great is that?
If you are ever in West Kirby, head for Tanskeys cafe - they love all us doggies, and have seating under shelter outside for all of us - if you tell them, they bring out biscuits and everything including water!! How kind are they? They really like Scotties as well! Dad says the food is excellent, as is the coffee (well, he had 3 on Sunday to thaw out - whatever that is - he maybe needs to grow a proper coat like us!)
Anyway, hope you are all having fun and are ready for Christmas - have you taken any of the decorations off the tree and put them in your beds yet? We have!! Ha ha!! ... took Dad ages to find them under our blankets ... he hasn't got any chocolate ones this year though, which is a shame - we enjoyed a couple last year before Mum found out the liquer ones had gone and blamed Daddy dog .. hic ... hic ...!
Oh well, we better go and check the oven, it smells like a banana bread is cooking, and we would not want it to escape!

Subject: Lottie’s Special Day
Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to Lottie’s Special Day, her 12th birthday. Unfortunately Lottie’s health had started to deteriorate prior to her birthday and yesterday deteriorated even further. Currently Lottie is an in-patient at Marion’s favourite vets where she will remain for the next 24 or 48 hours. Although ‘little lady’ Lottie looks in tip top condition on the outside, ‘things’ are not so good on the inside. We hope for the best but expect the worst and will keep you all informed as time allows.

Best WishesRoger Update 5th December 2011Marion is currently in the process of picking Lottie up from our vets where, under expert care over the weekend, Lottie has shown some improvement. Marion is very much aware of the problems that some of your animal friends are having and with the loss of some of your pets and has asked me to remind you that we will always be here for you.
