I came across your website today whilst researching the West Highland Way stuff and thought I would tell you how much I enjoyed your West Highland Way pages.
For your information, the hill on day 6 at Kingshouse, is Buachaille Etive Mor, one of the highest and most difficult Scottish peaks to climb.

Subject: John and 'Ramsey' John,
After reading your story on winning the 2011 Photographic Competition I finally found some news on Ramsey.
We reluctantly gave Ramsey up for adoption upon the birth of our son back in 2006 and have always searched for news that he is alive and well. It was the hardest decision we ever had to make as we kept Ramsey's sister, Maggie, but could not look after two dogs anymore.
My heart filled with sadness when I read that you had lost your other Scottie, Thorn, but happiness that you still had Ramsey.
I hope you have enjoyed life with Ramsey as he was such a loving dog. The Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme has proved that there are caring owners of Scottish Terriers and I hope John that you enjoy many more years with Ramsey.

Dearest Anne, Pauline, Elly, Barbara & Maureen - & all my Scottie friends,
My Ma is writing this for me, with the help of Pebbles & Rosie as I haven't quite worked out how to do it yet(our Nina & Tomos are asleep, & right now our Archie is hoovering the garden looking for windfall apples - so they're no help!).
Here goes ...
I want to thank you very, very much for all the lovely messages, cards & pictures I received for my birthday. As it was my first birthday it was all very exciting.
I am now having unbirthdays 'cos they are great fun too!
We've been having visitors so I've had lots of hugs, kisses & playtimes. I got a rugby ball (WHOA!), & Pooh bear as a friend for my Tigger ('cos he's been looking a bit tired recently & in need of a rest).
It blew a gale on my birthday & rained damsons & plums. Ma growled a lot & gathered them all up so we wouldn't get poorly tummies - what a spoilsport!
I really enjoyed my birthday so thank you once again. In fact, I think I might have another one tomorrow!!
Very special woofs, snuggles & kisses to Marion, Roger, dearest Lottie & darling Badger for making my birthday fun possible - a wonderful surprise & such a fantastic, fab, happy time.

Well done to Cath and Steve for a wonderful Garden Party today!! It was enjoyed by all and we have all come home with empty pockets from all of the lovely things to buy and to donate towards.
Jake received his Rescue Certificate today and did very well, having a little run around the show ring.
It was very nice to meet Bentley and Bugsy and also Dougal Henry - what lovely boys they all are!!!!

Dear Marion, Roger, Lottie and Badger
Thank you so much for my beautiful birthday card and so many lovely cards and birthday wishes on our website. Guess I'm a very lucky girl.
Mummy is taking me shopping this weekend and I'm having my 'makeover' on Saturday at my favourite parlour, as I have been in season, so I will feel like a new girl. And when I'm all 'made over', time for more diary entries. At the moment I can't have Dudley Bear seeing me all fluffy and like a 'teddy bear'.
